Campaign for The Praful Bidwai Memorial Trust

Praful Bidwai died tragically in Amsterdam on 23 June 2015. He is regarded by many of us as one of the best investigative journalists South Asia has produced, and a true internationalist public intellectual. Praful was passionately concerned about many issues, including the threats of nuclear weapons, climate change, environmental  destruction, religious communalism, social and political egalitarianism. 

We want to ensure Praful is not forgotten, that his work is popularised and made accessible to ordinary South Asians, and that the scholar-journalist tradition he was so famous for inspires a new generation of writers.
